The Alchemist at New York Street in Manchester had a revamp and myself and Ben went to take a look! Food and cocktails are two of my favourite things and I'm always on the hunt for cool places to eat...
I have visited both of The Alchemist's in Manchester before, it's a restaurant and bar with a twist. If you are looking for a place with exciting cocktails - this is the one! I tried 'the colour changing one' which did exactly as it say's. The theme of the bar is very scientific with drinks in beakers and smoke! There are also mocktails for non-alcoholics like the Mango Shake, which was yummy!
The Alchemist have a wide range of food from nibbles to main courses and desserts. I had the mixed olives, special fried chicken wrap and chocolate fudge cake which was delicious and I finished it all! Ben chose the popcorn chicken nibbles, fish & chips and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - it looked amazing!
I will definitely be going back to The Alchemist again whether it's for a meal or some cocktails in the evening. It's one of my favourite places in Manchester!
