VAPIANO MANCHESTER REVIEW

Vapiano is a Italian restaurant at the Corn Exchange in Manchester, I was kindly invited to try out their food and so took my parents and brother along with me. It has a laid-back atmosphere, and serves pasta, pizza, antipasti and salads which are prepared and made freshly right in front of you!!! Here's my review and reasons why this has become one of my favourite places to eat...

First of all, if anyone knows me they know all I ever eat is pasta and pizza (literally, there is no exaggeration there) - I absolutely adore Italian food so when I got invited I just couldn't say no! Vapiano is unlike other restaurants. When you first arrive every customer is given a Vapiano card which you scan to calculate what you eat and drink, and then this is used to pay for your food at the end, its really great when dining with friends as you don't have to worry about splitting the bill. Around the restaurant which is spacious and perfectly styled, there are individual stations where you go to order your pasta, pizza, antipasti or salad and the friendly and super talented chefs prepare and cook your order, right there in front of you!

Another bonus at Vapiano is that all of the food is fresh which makes it even more delicious! The atmosphere is very chilled and laid-back but at the same time there's a great vibe. And seating is so much fun, you can choose to where you wish to sit and if you want to move about - go for it! Each table also has a fresh herb plants which are not just for decoration - you can break some basil off and it to your pizza if you want to!!

Now on to the food... I ordered the Caprese antipasti (Cherry tomatoes with fresh mozzarella, basil and arugula) as you can see pictured above - there was lots of tomatoes and a big piece of mozzarella in the middle. I ate every last bit, it was deliciously refreshing! This is one of my favourite starters. For my mains, I had the really hard decision of deciding whether I wanted pasta or pizza. I went for the Verdure pizza (Homemade grilled vegetables and fresh mushrooms on tomato sauce and mozzarella) it was so tasty so I am really glad that I chose it! I have also pictured my parent's meals above and my brother who is really fussy eater and states that he ate "the best garlic bread ever". Lastly, I couldn't leave without trying their desserts. I demolished the Bacia (chocolate and hazelnut blended on a biscuit base, topped with chopped hazelnuts) it was presented in the cutest jar and tasted just as good as it looked!

Overall, you can see that I have given this restaurant lots of positive comments because I absolutely loved it! I am currently planning my 18th birthday meal and would love to take my friends here! I will be back soon :-)
