Discover Manchester with CitySuites

Although Manchester is my home, it's always exciting to be invited to stay away for the night at a luxury apartment in the City Centre. CitySuites is an aparthotel designed for short stays, whether you're going on holiday or a business trip. I had the best stay with them, I couldn't wait to write my post and share my photo's.

In my personal experience, I would much prefer to stay in a apartment hotel over a hotel. It feels like a home away from home. Myself and Ben stayed in a 1-bedroom at CitySuites, the room includes a beautiful bathroom (always my first place to look when staying away) with a waterfall shower. A 'living room' area and kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you would need.

The view from the room was amazing, you could see the centre of Manchester and the high tower buildings. I definitely spent a lot of time sat by the window, I have a thing for sitting on window cills and reading. There is a TV in the this area and the bedroom which includes a Sky box, Netflix, Amazon Prime - by 9pm we were sat watching Love Island eating ice-cream and chocolate.

CitySuites Manchester has many luxury facilities like the 18m swimming pool and jacuzzi, we made the most of our stay and went for a swim in the evening. There is also a state-of-the-art gym! After swimming, we both got ready to try the set menu in the Executive Lounge. Every single plate was delicious and I demolished them all, especially the dessert. My favourite was the 'Spiced Corn-fed Chicken Confit Leg' and the 'Grilled Peach Avocado Mozzarella Salad'. Ben loved the 'White Chocolate Raspberry Tart'.

In the morning we visited the Executive Lounge again for breakfast, I was struggling between the buffet or the 'Good Morning Bagel'. Both of us decided to go for the bagel and it was a good choice! The seeded bagel arrived with smashed avocado, cream cheese and scrambled egg. If I was to describe myself as a breakfast, it would probably be that (I have it all the time).

Thank you CitySuites for the amazing stay, I would definitely recommend this place as somewhere to enjoy if you're heading down to Manchester soon.
