I popped into my local Harvey Nichols in Manchester on Thursday evening for the Lucia Magnani Skin Care launch! I was greeted with drinks and canape's whilst I had time to look around at the products they'll have in store. I even had the opportunity to meet the lovely Lucia Magnani herself, the remarkable woman behind the brand!
Lucia has developed a luxury skincare brand with the knowledge from past work with some of the most famous beauty lines. She was also a biochemical analyst and then a senior executive working at GVM Care & Research. Basically, this woman is an expert in the science of wellbeing and skin care!
The brand was exclusive to London shoppers until it was just launched in Manchester too! I had a lovely evening getting to know more about the brand from Lucia and her team. You could tell they were enthusiastic and excited about the products. On the display from the collection was: Daily Firming Hydrator, Refreshing Energizing Tonic, Rejuvenating Eye Cream, Rejuvenating Night Cream, Rejuvenating Serum and a Retexturing Radiance Mask.
Lucia was inspired by her love of natural ingredients and her passion for anti-aging research. She has produced an original 'Long Life Formula' which is key for preventing aging in the body and skin from the inside and out.
The products combine science with nature with four antioxidant ingredients: Ubiquinone, Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Alpha Lipoic Acid. As well as three earth elements: Crodarom Rock Crystal (Quartz), Gulf Stream Sea Water (Sea Salt) and Actipyte of Chardonnay GL (Vitis Vinifera Grapefruit Extract). Lucia Magnani's concept of holistic 'Ben Essere' or wellbeing is embodied with the specific ingredients chose for each of her exclusive high-performance skin care products.
We watched a short film of the process of the brand and I found it so inspiring to see all the work gone into creating the perfect product. Lucia is a genius! There were also clips of Castrocaro where Italy's top-wellness clinic is and Lucia developed her products to simulate the Castrocaro Terme Spa Experience.
I went home with some treats for myself and I'm going to be trying them out the next couple of weeks so keep a look out for my blog post with a review! My love for skincare grows every time I discover a new brand to try!
