La Maison Champs Elysées // Hotel Review

During my short break in Paris last week with my boyfriend Ben, we spent the night at the most beautiful, 5 star boutique hotel - Hotel La Maison Champs Elysées. As soon as I walked in you could feel the elegant classic French style. There are 40 Boutique rooms and 17 Couture rooms which all offer something different.

We stayed in the 'Suite Boris Vian' from the Couture Collection which was designed by fashion designer, Martin Margiela. This room was different to the other suite's as the walls were painted Black and Grey with black stained oak floor. The dark atmosphere was stylish yet inviting and cosy.

The interior of the room was luxurious. I loved walking around and finding little pieces in the room that just made it feel unique. The lounge area has a wall that is devoted to a curiosities case, it is full of new and old books and little objects. Plus a desk area with a iMac, a mini fridge, a nespresso machine hidden in wall and two chairs. One of my favourite things that I noticed was the bin - it looked like a gift bag! I really want one in my room too.

In the bedroom was a comfy double bed and right in front of us was the 40" TV which included Apple TV and a variety of channels. We spent our evening watching a lot of episodes from American Horror Story.

The bathroom also included a large mirror with the best lighting, it was perfect for doing my makeup. A shower and bath with bathrobes and slippers provided. Luckily, they also provide a hair dryer because I'd forgotten mine!

In the morning, you can choose to have breakfast in your room. Or to go downstairs to the 'Table du Huit' restaurant, which is what we did. We had the continental breakfast where you can choose what you would like from the buffet. I opted for the toast with vegetarian sausages, scrambled egg and tomato's which was delicious. As well as, a bowl of fruit and yoghurt and a crepe with nutella and banana. I left feeling full and ready to walk for miles taking in the sights around Paris.

This place is perfect for being in the centre of Paris as it is in the heart of Paris' Golden Triangle. It is located on the street next to the Avenue Montaigne, and is great for visiting the boutiques of the top fashion designers. We also visited the Eiffel town and Arch de Triomph which are close by.

A huge thank you to the staff at La Maison Champs Elysées, we had a wonderful stay and would love to see you again!
