Catch up with your favourite GB Athletes with DFS*

This is a paid advertorial for DFS

We are all well aware, on the 5th August was the opening ceremony for the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio and I've been keeping up with the games from the comfort of my sofa and supporting Team GB! I realised that every year I end up being glued to my TV watching these inspiring athletes win medals for their country. But what do they do in their down-time?

As well as watching the Olympics, DFS (who are the official homeware partner of Team GB) have been sharing a new content series on their YouTube channel called 'Great Brits: Game On' which is quite entertaining! It is hosted by British presenters, Reggie Yates and Justin Moorhouse, and they have been working with Team GB bronze medalist gymnast, Max Whitlock; champion cylist, Laura Trott and the world-record holding swimmer, Adam Peaty!

Over in Rio, DFS have been showcasing the atmosphere of the Olympics from the British House and posting fun challenges and interviews with a variety of athletes. It is set in a British themed room with a red, blue and white colour scheme, tea pots and buntings. They have also created a limited edition sofa, specially designed for the Olympics called 'The Britannia' which is showcased in the headquarters for Team GB.

I think it's entertaining and cool to watch the Olympians outside of the competition zone and watch them take part in different challenges like toy archery, slip 'n' slides and water balloon catch. It takes a break from the normal conventional interviews and shows the athletes chilling out and relaxing.

They also play a fun coaster game called 'Flip It' and in one of the videos, Helen Glover from Team GB's rowing team, flipped and caught 47 coasters! I tried this myself at home and only managed to catch 7! This is a game you can easily play at home, if you have a go, make sure to share a picture or video with the hashtag #flipit to the @DFS Twitter or Instagram.

DFS will be posting all new videos throughout the Olympics so you can click here to go to their channel and watch 'Great Brits: Game On' and don't forget to let me know how many coasters you can catch in the #FlipIt Game! You can also see my attempt and other 'sofa olympic' challenges on my new vlog here
