This weekend I was invited to attend The Telegraph Ski & Snowboard Show at the EventCity in Manchester. This event is a place where visitors can discover the latest snowboarding gear at a Fashion Show, meet some Team GB athletes, listen to music whilst sipping on hot chocolate with Smooth FM, watch the Extreme Action Sports Tour Show and many more! I spent the day walking around the different stalls to look at all the brands and companies that were there. I also saw Zaini Hats - I already have one of their hats so that was exciting! A station called 'Mountain Talks' included lots of different Team GB athletes, where they spoke to an audience to give tips and advice, including Anna Vincenti, Tom Heeley, Julie Hayton and many more! I also watched the Extreme Action Sports Tour where there was some incredibly skilled Free Running, BMX and Trials Riding - it was amazing! I had some time in the Crystal Ski Photobooth because you can never leave without taking some funny selfies and watched my brother slide down the giant blow up slide, I'm not going to lie I was pretty jealous! The fashion show was interesting to watch as they were all dancers and performed in the snowboarding gear that was full of bright and wonderful colours! Overall, I had a fun time and would definitely recommend it to others whether you ski or just have an interest in fitness like me.
